Defining Moments
How I responded to discouragement
THE NOISE
Messages from Myself:
You're too nice for the industry. You need to be smarter, more aware, and more pessimistic about some clients.
How I responded:
You always have to be aware of your surroundings, and sometimes people aren't the most honest or nice to you. Take everything with a grain of salt, learn from every experience, and don't let negatives weigh on your mind. Keep pushing forward.
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
Father and Stepfather passed away, with no life insurance. Was kicked out of house by tenants, and spent time borrowing money and doing odd jobs until I could get a job with a steady income. Mortgage crisis hit during all this.
