Politics is a young person's game. You can advance very fast and campaigns are always looking for volunteers. Study history and campaign strategy. With the new social media, you may be smarter already than an old hand like me. Decide why you want to be in politics or government, and answer President Kennedy's call to public service. Remember, it is a service and a privilege to serve the people.
Explore as many opportunities as you can and take chances.
It's important to focus on your next step, not what am I going to do with the rest of my life. This will keep you going on your path and keep you open to possibilities.
Get an education. If you are able to go to college, there is no better tool to help you succeed. Once you have a college degree, that education, that knowledge can never be taken away from you.
