My path in life took a while to figure out

Recognize that you are in charge of your path. You don't have to take anyone's advice or follow their direction. Do what makes you happy, or what gets you to what makes you happy.
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
My family struggled to put food on the table, then my brother and I went to college at the same time and my parents couldn't help. We started with federal grants and loans, and then worked every part-time job we could find that worked around classes.
