Take constructive feedback as constructive feedback. Lose the ego and listen to people. There's great feedback there.
How I responded:
Don't give up, it's really hard to break into Product Management. Network your face off and be a pseudo entrepreneur within your own org. You may not realize it but you will be gaining great relevant experience for product management.
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
I grew up with A.D.D. which proved very difficult with test taking. When I got to College I realized I would be judged almost solely on tests. I shared this with my teachers and we were able to come up with side projects to supplement and excelled.
