Defining Moments
How I responded to discouragement
THE NOISE
Messages from Family:
You shouldn't move too far from home. There are enough opportunities already where you are.
How I responded:
I have lived in the same city for the first 25 years of my life. I decided that home will always be there. Sometimes, you have to push yourself outside of your comfort zone. For me, I knew that if I didn't pursue the move, I would regret it later on in life. I had to put my dreams first, while I am still young and don't have any major commitments.
