How I responded:
Don't throw it away because the odds are not in your favor. If the technology that was out there today would have been around when I was in school, I think I would have been able to pursue my larger dreams. Find out what's out there to make it happen.

I decided I was going to give myself enough time to learn what I needed to.
My family did not value college, so I had to break out of that mold and mindset. It's hard to press on, when your parents are not encouraging you.
